Krista Holland, Founder of The FRAME DRUMMING ACADEMY and its educational branch, The SACRED DRUMMING ACADEMY, is a multifaceted teacher, frame drummer, and independent researcher on the frame drum's ancient global and poly-cultural history. Krista studied the art and practice of frame drumming along with the rituals, myths, and ancient drum history with her primary teacher and mentor, the late Layne Redmond, author of "When the Drummers Were Women," for 14 years until Layne's passing. Krista has since developed a methodology that weaves together a rich tapestry of teachings on frame drumming and sound healing.
